Mick Foley Offered A WWE Legends Contract, But WILL NOT Sign It.

Mick Foley was interviewed today on “The Drive with Marc James” on CBS Radio 610 "The Fan" (WFNZ) out of Charlotte, North Carolina to promote his appearance in Charlotte later on tonight.

The topic of a WWE deal however came up and Foley said this:
"Honestly, I’m probably not going to sign my Legends Deal with WWE because I don’t think they did the right thing by the guys with the video game.  The check was a little low.  Last year, there was a bankruptcy, but this year there wasn’t.  So, I don’t see the upside to signing the legends deal when the carrot isn’t there dangling.  So, I’m not going to sign my Legend’s deal.”

Steve Austin Interested In A Match With Brock Lesnar?

During an interview with Paul Heyman on the Steve Austin show podcast, Austin admitted that he would be tempted to return to WWE for a match against Brock Lesnar.

The two were discussing how Brock has not reached his potential as a wrestler yet, and when Heyman brought up the idea of Austin returning to face Brock, Austin said he would have to pause and continue that conversation off the air. Heyman joked that the news would be the headline coming out of the show.
Obviously Austin remains tremendously popular, has a good relationship with WWE, just appeared at WrestleMania 30, and always seems to leave the door slightly open for one more match. In the past, he has teased that he would return if the money and situation is right. Of course, Austin is also 49 years old and it remains a question if he can physically handle a return given his medical history.

Report: Major WWE Plans For Cesaro

As previously reported, WWE is planning very big things for Cesaro now that WrestleMania is over.

The “Cesaro Section” signs at WWE live events have been handed out by WWE, who are hoping to manufacture the support for Cesaro that developed organically for Daniel Bryan with the “Yes!” movement.
Even though he is the latest “Paul Heyman guy”, WWE doesn’t want to portray Cesaro as a full heel. The plan is to keep him liked by the crowd even though he’s working with the manager that led Brock Lesnar to conquering the Streak at WrestleMania XXX.

While previous reports said that Lesnar would face Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, it seems as though WWE will put him against Cesaro soon. The idea is that the next guy to beat Lesnar will get a huge babyface rub due to Lesnar ending the Streak.

Regardless of what WWE actually decides to do to get there, they fully plan on pushing Cesaro hard in the future.

Rumor: Hulk Hogan Verbally Agrees To WWE Deal

Hulk Hogan has reportedly agreed to work with World Wrestling Entertainment again for a short-term run with the company according to a report by Examiner.com.
Their report mentions that although Hogan has not signed a legends deal, he has verbally agreed to work a match and there is even talk of him being a surprised entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble.
Examiner wrote the following about Hogan’s return to the company:

“We knew this would happen at some point. It’s my understanding that there isn’t a contract in place, but there’s a verbal agreement that will move forward. It’s just a good fit for everybody involved, especially with the milestone WrestleMania 30 coming up. Hogan needed to finish up his stuff with TNA and just come home.”
